139th Regiment Unit Crest (First Furthest Last)

The distinctive unit insignia (DUI) worn by the 139th Regiment features the motto "First Furthest Last." Initially approved for the 139th Infantry Regiment in 1956, it was rescinded in 1960, and later reinstated and redesignated for the 139th Regiment in 1997. Unit crests are worn on both the Army Class A Service Green and Army Service Uniform (ASU).
