123rd Infantry Regiment Unit Crest (Guide On Our Tracks)

Unit Crests, officially termed Distinctive Unit Insignia, are unique to each U.S. Army unit, though commonly referred to as "Unit Crests." These insignias derive their design from the authorized coat of arms for the unit. All personnel within the organization wear the insignia, with exceptions for certain high-ranking officers. Enlisted personnel position the crest on the green service uniform coat, while officers center it on the shoulder loops.
