11th Aviation Battalion Unit Crest (Exempla Proponere)

These distinctive unit insignia (DUI) are worn by the 11th Aviation Regiment. Their motto, "Exempla Proponere," translates to "To Set Forth Examples." Approved for wear in 1967, the 1st Battalion, 11th Aviation Regiment, currently based out of Ft. Rucker, AL, proudly displays these insignias on the Army Service Green and Army Service Uniform (ASU).
