101st Regiment Unit Crest (Semper Paratus)

The motto of this unit is "Semper Paratus," meaning "Always Ready." The crest measures 1 1/4 inches in height. During WWI, the regiment engaged in six significant operations, each represented by the incorporation of fleurs-de-lis into the crest design. These unit crests are also referred to as Distinctive Unit Insignia.
