100th Regiment Unit Crest (No Motto)

Distinctive Unit Insignia, commonly referred to as Unit Crests, are emblems worn by military units. This crest measures 1 5/32 inches in height. The gold horseshoe symbolizes an honor bestowed upon Governor Alexander Spotswood's men, who explored West Virginia in 1716. The red background signifies Artillery.
