30th Armored Brigade Unit Crest (Old Hickory Brigade) 

The 30th Armored Brigade proudly wears these distinctive unit insignias (DUI). Recognized by the motto "Old Hickory Brigade," the brigade is based in Clinton, North Carolina. The term "hornet's nest" alludes to the unit's home area in North Carolina. This DUI was redesignated for the 30th Armored Brigade in 2004. Unit crests are worn on both the Army Class A Service Green and the Army Service Uniform (ASU).
